The Abbey

Westside Abbey, adjacent to the Holy Virgin Catholic cathedral in Westside Heights, is one of Ikaanos' oldest nunneries, built for women searching for spiritual guidance.

The Abbey also houses a convent, where girls of all ages can learn skills - under a strict code of conduct that doesn't deviate an inch from the holy faith.

The abbey's prosperity, maintained by the venerable abbess Juventia, is directly affected by the state of the Cathedral of The Holy Virgin. Furthermore, girls placed under Abbess' protection can also be affected by their sponsor's Standing with the Catholic Church, as follows:

• If their Lord has 30+ Standing, they are granted the Seal of Virtue, giving a +25% chance modifier on Skills & Attribute gains. This also gives their Lord the option to activate the Order of the Sacred Cross, giving +25% chance to increase Pure and Vanilla traits.
• If their Lord has 60+ Standing, they are granted Great Benefactor status, giving a +50% chance modifier on Skills & Attribute gains. This also gives their Lord the option to activate the Order of the Virtuous Herald, giving +15% chance to increase Christian Devotion and Administration.
