Here is a list of sports that are very popular in pre-Severance Ikaanos.

• The Arena. Undoubtedly the most popular attraction in the city, especially among the upper-middle class and above.
• Soccer. A long-standing favorite well before the Severance. The sport is organized into two leagues: the A2 division and the top-tier Ikaanos United Soccer League (IUSL). There are currently eight teams playing in the IUSL:

  • Redhaven Forge FC
  • Marston Town
  • Procoms Circuit FC
  • Emerald FC
  • Highspire Guardians
  • Southmarch Tide
• Rensai Duelling. A traditional martial competition using short carbon rods. Points are awarded for precision strikes, not force. A sport that originated from the Hakusan Empire during the mid 2300s.
• Aerodisc. A very popular sport during the 2100s but still played in Ikaanos today. Similar to ultimate frisbee but with weighted aerodynamic discs that curve unpredictably.
• Windrider Sailing. Small personal sailcraft used on Ikaanos' inland channels or reservoirs. Very stylish, and exclusively aristocratic.
