    History

Founded by Ivar Rennick in 2260 as a trading hub that also served as the primary landing platform for UEG soldiers (pre-Severance) and later republic marines. The city fell into disrepair and was partially abandoned in the early 2300s.

The trading port experienced a resurgence in population and commerce following the Dark Ages, yet it never rose to rival the influence and power of its neighbors Hakusan and Lake City.

Though the governing council of Ivardin publicly denounces all forms of piracy, the city is widely known as a haven for criminals and so-called “merchant houses” that often turn to piracy during times of unrest.
