Prometheus Kingdoms

The Prometheus Kingdoms, comprising the Free City of Ivardin, the Republic of Prometheus Lake and The Hakusan Empire (the latter two city states are more commonly known as Lake City and New Tokyo by Ikaanians, respectively), are autonomous regions that dominate the northern parts of the Ikaanos Colony.

Named for the huge lake on whose shores they sit, the kingdoms are officially part of the Ikaanian Republic and pay a trade-based tax to the motherland, but share little in ways of culture and internal politics with their cousins in the south.  

The Hakusan Empire and the Prometheus Republic have been good friends during the past century, often striking trade agreements and participating in joint military expeditions against outside threats. Ivardin is known more as a dilapidated haven for criminality and piracy.
