There are three types of difficulties in Masters of Raana.
Sandbox[edit | edit source]
A casual playthrough for those who want to experiment or just take it easy.
- Adds a retainer (+$50/day).
- Easier skill rolls (+15 to all chance rolls).
- No need to shower MC.
- Enemies do less damage in combat.
Normal[edit | edit source]
No modifications. Standard MoR difficulty.
Grimdark[edit | edit source]
A realistic playthrough that are close to how Ikaanos really feels like.
- Double taxes. You need to plan your economy better.
- Less starting money.
- No scumsaving (only a daily auto save is enabled).
- No numerical values for slaves.
