Dockgrave Tavern
In the busy neighborhood of The Docks stands an old building known as "The Dockgrave". This establishment has acted as the main cantina for seamen, dock loaders and other locals for at least 150 years. It's been run for three generations by a powerful Irish clan known as the Finnegans, whose head man today is Craig Finnegan, also known as "The Irish Tiger". Recently, Dockgrave Tavern has also come into the sphere of interest of the Nakamura clan, which has been shunned from Emerald City after a showdown against a powerful Spheremaster family. The Irish-Japanese union has seen little conflicts so far, but there are worrisome rumors whispering that the Nakamuras are attempting to take over the business at Dockgrave.
Dockgrave Tavern offers a chance to mingle with the locals, poker games, cheap prostitutes and a mysterious VIP club known as The Velvet Room.
Mingle[edit | edit source]
Dockgrave doesn't offer free drinks like Furry's Tavern but the socializing game is ripe with information, anecdotes and possible skill gains. After paying $30 and spending two hours talking, listening and arguing with other visitors, you'll advance a socializing counter with one point. When the counter reaches 8, you'll receive a skill or attribute gain that can range from WILLPOWER to gambling - or a considerable Influence boost.
You can only mingle once per day.
Poker game[edit | edit source]
Joining a Dockgrave poker game sets you up with four other players, plus The House, also titled "the game master". The House, often played by a younger female slave, sets the stakes and decides when to call, while also taking an active part in the game.
Prostitutes[edit | edit source]
A local pimp known as Joe Bohannan controls four denaar addicted hookers who provide visitors with a cheap hole to dump their loads in.
Jobs[edit | edit source]
Speaking to Craig Finnegan, with 500+ Influence points, unlocks a slave selling contract worth approximately $250,000. Mr. Finnegan is in need of ten fully trained slaves, which the MC can supply him if they meet the prerequisites he's asking for.
