"NPCs" in Masters of Raana refers to all interactable persons who are not slaves.

Available NPCs

Ansel Motte

• Location: Redhaven market
• Type: Ranged combatant/Scavenger
• Sexual interactions: No

Traits and quirks

• Will use up the MC's ammo if equipped with a ranged weapon.
• Bond of trust - stays unaffected if MC's funds are negative.
• Embezzler - DO NOT assign this NPC as your accountant.
• Corrupted - assigning a Floor Crawler will make this NPC cut his salary with 50%.

Armand

• Location: Bank of Ikaanos (Crystal Heights)
• Type: Accountant/Janitor
• Sexual interactions: No

Traits and quirks

• Increases MC investment revenues.
• Will join MC's slave trading profession if his Corruption reaches 25+. This will slightly increase your yield for selling slaves at the auction, as long as Armand is assigned as a follower.

Black guard

• Location: Warrior Hall (Watery Eyes)
• Type: Elite soldier
• Sexual interactions: No
• Quest: "Hostage"

Traits and quirks

• Doesn't deplete the MC's ammo.
• Will lower his salary after finishing personal quest.
• Changes casual renders after reaching Friendly+ Affection.
• Can increase the MC's Attributes during training sessions.

Enya

• Location: Crystal Hills (on clear days)
• Type: Melee fighter
• Sexual interactions: Yes

Traits and quirks

• Will use up the MC's ammo if equipped with a ranged weapon.
• Changes casual renders after reaching Corruption 50+.

Johnny Doyle

• Location: Crow's End
• Type: Ranged combatant
• Sexual interactions: No

• Senior - suffers from old age (STR and DEX get a -3 modification twice per year).

Laika

• Location: Temple of Yidhra (Kasey's park)
• Type: Scavenger
• Sexual interactions: Yes*

• Will use up the MC's ammo if equipped with a ranged weapon.
• Bond of trust - stays unaffected if MC's funds are negative.
• Kids crew - has a chance to return circuit boards and stimpacks during scavenger runs if assigned as a Scavenger together with Loden.

• Has a -85% EDU/INT increase chance if assigned to Whitehaven Academy.

Space Marine

• Location: Hamah Bay (daytime)
• Type: Ranged combatant
• Sexual interactions: No

• Doesn't deplete the MC's ammo.
• Recieves a +5 combat bonus when fighting in jungles.

General information

Out of cash

Failure to pay your NPCs salaries comes with catastrophic consequences.

Each day without pay will deteriorate your NPC's Affection with 3 points. His Happiness will also decrease with one point per day. There's also a -15 drop in Influence, per assigned NPC.

This isn't true with NPCs with the Bond of trust Trait.
