Creating events

The MC has the possibility to create a wide variety of events in his household. Events can increase skills and attributes, raise Influence, provide you with quests, generate POIs and enemy icons and tell interesting stories and reveal your slave's advantages and special attributes.

How to prepare an event[edit | edit source]

Choose whether to hold a casual chill night in your living room, invite friends to a dinner or throw a party that'll hopefully be remembered in Redhaven for months.

After deciding on what kind of event you want to host, it's time to invite your guests. It's totally up to you if you want a dinner/party with just your girls, or an all-guys night with Bud, Ansel and your mercenaries, or a combination of both.

Your household slaves can either be assigned as participants, servants or pleasure slaves. Participating in events will give your girls a chance to be positively affected by random benefits and Happiness/Affection increases. The servant assignment places them in the background with few interaction possibilities. They are mostly there to provide you with an Influence boost and success chance increase for various interaction and "bragging" events.

You're also able to signal your upper-class status in Ikaanos by providing your guests with pleasure slaves. Doing so enables not only lewd renders and texts, but also a massive bonus to potential Influence boosts and a positive effect to the final Event roll that decides if your evening is successful or not. Note that female mercenaries might react negatively if you use your slaves in this manner. The same goes for participating slaves that have low Corruption.

After inviting your guests and instructed your slaves on their various tasks, it's finally time to build the actual party and decide what theme you'll have for tonight.

The importance of food[edit | edit source]

When choosing snacks, food and drinks, a general rule is: the more the better. Note that the inclusion of drugs and alcohol increases The Chaos Factor, however. A chaos factor roll, if "successful", can create a very unpleasant event in the final Event roll, ranging from upset neighbors, broken equipment, Health injuries and raped slaves.

Themes (Chill night)[edit | edit source]

Chill nights are relatively safe events that you spend in the upper part of your living room - around your couch, at the gaming table or next to your ENSYS unit (if purchased).

RPG nights are laid out a bit differently than TV-nights, acting almost like an Academy course. Finishing the first campaign will disable this choice until you buy an new RPG box in a bookstore or find one out on adventures. There's only one campaign, Lord of the Pyramids, added to the engine right now. More campaigns are planned, however, either trough future version or fan-created additions.

Themes (Dinner)[edit | edit source]

Sophisticated[edit | edit source]

  • World lore: Massive
  • Good for: Raising Influence, exploring unique slave dialogue, raising slave Affection and Happiness.
  • Provides quests/POIs: Yes.

Casual[edit | edit source]

  • World lore: Massive
  • Good for: Raising Influence, exploring unique slave dialogue, raising slave Affection and Happiness.
  • Provides quests/POIs: Yes.

Dinner nights provide you the choice to socalize with your guests and slaves. Doing so can reveal many different anecdotes, quests, enemies, POIs and other interesting stuff. Many of these quests are hidden inside the engine - you'll have to discover them by inviting certain guests and combine various themes, drinks and food. What happens when you call on Abbot Roo and Timothy Walton from the Weapon store and decide to have a sitdown with these two gentlemen, discussing the future of Redhaven? What happens if you offer some fancy wine to Michelle during a romantic dinner after she's made it clear you're more than just friends?

Quests can range from deadly fights in the outskirts to taking care of troublesome old men who're harassing your slaves when they're out doing their grocery runs.
