POI
POI = Point of Interest - an interactable point on one of the game maps, in the form of a text label above a white pointer, or a red circle with a white six-way cross inside it which will show some pop-up help-text if you hover your mouse over it.
POIs are generally used to indicate features which would not be obvious to the eye when walking around but which will persist (red circle with white cross, e.g. the drainage pipe entrance shown in this example) - or which may only have relevance once or a set number of times, and which might disappear afterwards (text label above a pointer, e.g. the Clubhouse shown in this example).
The term might also be used more loosely to refer to bandits (shown in the middle of this example), fishing spots, hunting spots, and the "claw" symbols indicating presence of dangerous Raanan lifeforms.
