Loose term for the powerful elite who rule The Republic from the Mastersphere, the 5,000 capacity space station orbiting Raana - wielding power over Ikaanos colony backed up by space marines, space shuttles, ion cannons and other pre-Severance technology not found below. The Senate are mostly based here, as is the Chancellor. The indolent spheremasters live in decadence and pampered luxury while those who support their lifestyles struggle on the planet's surface.
