NOTE!

This update introduces a new weapon slot system. Make sure to bring up your Inventory immediately and equip yourself to ensure you'll not enter your next fight with only your bare knuckles as a weapon.

Gameplay changes

  • [NPC] There's now a repeat button for homeschooling sessions.
  • [NPC] You can now assign NPCs to your Follower group directly from the Roaming NPC pane upon hiring them.
  • [NPC] Added 500 words of dialogue to the Golden Dragon birthday event for Issids and random NPCs.
  • [NPC] Science and Academy professors will now earn additional money when reaching Prestige 250 (+$5) and Prestige 500 (+$15).
  • [NPC] NPCs that compete at the gymnasium will now have additional chance bonuses if their STAMINA is 80+ (+5), 100+ (+5) and 120+ (+15).
  • [NPC] Aisha now starts with a Deepthroat skill of 0 (was random).
  • [NPC] Unassigning a First Wife will now automatically set her salary to $0. Make sure to adjust it accordingly if "Meet Salary Demands" is set to OFF.
  • [NPC] Stats affecting a girl's willingness to participate in threesomes can now be viewed by clicking on the red "refuses" link upon entering the Threesome Engine.
  • [NPC] NPCs winning arranged fights at The Arena will now increase their Downed Enemies counter.
  • [NPC] Added several new dialogues to the "Walk in the city" event.
  • [NPC] Added many new dialogues to "The Diner" event.
  • [NPC] Removed prowlers from the Conclude Day Stamina cap.
  • [NPC] Male offspring NPCs that are herculean+ will now update their Food setting to Hearty upon entering adulthood.
  • [NPC] Normal and Grimdark difficulty: You can no longer assign Followers outside the Redhaven district from the District Map > NPC Menu.
  • [NPC] Slightly decreased the Affection loss from low Salaries for high-tier NPCs and NPCs with the Materialistic trait.
  • [NPC] NPCs that are in a relationship will now regenerate their Relationship Trait Value by one point per day if Affection toward the MC is below Amiable.
  • [NPC] NPCs now have a 2% chance to increase STAMINA during flagellation sessions (cap: 100). The chance is 3% if STAMINA is below 40 and 1% if STAMINA is 70+.
  • [NPC] Replaced the Decreased Salary domestic event for Servants+ as it wasn't compatible with the new salary demand system.
  • [NPC] Random NPCs that are not scripted can now start with a small amount of Prestige and/or Fame.
  • [NPC] Tuned and overhauled some of Seve's initial proposition dialogues.
  • [NPC] Neuraclean will now remove the Jester Trait.
  • [MC] Added Gluttonous to the MC's Trait pane.
  • [MC] There's now an auto shower feature for the bathroom - setting this to ON will add the "Fresh and Clean" state to the MC and advance time by 12 minutes. Auto showers does not increase Stamina or Health.
  • [SEX ENGINE] Rewrote and overhauled the "Compliment" action. Added skill checks, tweaked checkers and implemented additional dialogues.
  • [COMBAT] Removed a rogue "Enemy is hit" text from the old combat log framework.
  • [COMBAT] Grimdark difficulty: Increased incapacitation attribute penalties with 100-150% for the MC and NPCs.
  • [COMBAT] There's now a "Captives disabled" notation at the start of a combat encounter with enemies that cannot be taken prisoners.
  • [WORLD] Slightly reduced the spawn chance and take out chance (Skyguard) for Stokke and Marston Bandits (10-15%).
  • [WORLD] Taverns will now receive less income if Prosperity drops below 25. Current penalty is visible in the Prosperity tooltip (Conclude Day).
  • [WORLD] Increased Maintenance for Taverns by roughly 40% (if Reputation is 200+). (maximum +$25/day per tavern).
  • [WORLD] Taverns with less than four assigned workers will now produce less Reputation and Gold (10-20% penalty).
  • [WORLD] Grimdark difficulty: Added a penalty multiplier (x0.85) to Tavern incomes. Disable by setting "notavpenalty = true" in the console.
  • [DEBUG MENU] Added Palace Rating to the debug menu (last page).
  • [UI] Decreased spaces within the crafting engine to avoid text overlapping issues.

Sexual Disposition values

Hovering over an NPC's sexual stat values in the NPC Menu will now display his or her Sexual Disposition toward the specific type of sex. These stats have been more or less hidden and not clearly defined other than in the Ask engine, which in most cases couldn't provide the player with a detailed answer.

New NPC: Ellen Shaw (Tier request)

Available at Hamilton Square (Bellemme Estate) from day one.

Ellen is an out-of-luck, 20-year-old former SGPD Officer who's willing to take up any job that can save her from her current state of destitution. She also offers a mini-quest that could potentially restore her as a household-assigned police officer.

  • Features a full wardrobe and an enhanced limited sex scene archive (~20 scenes).
  • Has a special "Police Academy" Professional specialization which provides a +5 bonus to STRENGTH (cap: 100), STAMINA (cap: 100) and Discipline (cap: Ellen's) increase rolls if Ellen is assigned as an Educator.

New Enemy group (The Pirates of Red River)

The Red River Basin can now be invaded by pirate ships travelling from Ivardin, Gritter's Cove or West Hakusan. These enemy POIs may spawn if City Control drops below 40, there's an active Dengi invasion or if the Prometheus war is raging. Two of these groups will also block the entrance to Kahill outpost and Hamah Bay.

  • Spawn chance for pirates is roughly 10-25% if the above prerequisites are true.
  • Naval fights take place on unique ship-based combat maps (three combinations) with day/night alternatives (for a total of six unique maps).
  • Naval fights are subjected to weather penalties.
  • Features a unique combat audio track.
  • Defeating a Pirate enemy group during the Prometheus war provide war supply points (max 25).
  • Pirate strength is geared toward high-level groups, being slightly more powerful than the Highwaymen of Darkmere. Some pirate groups might also spawn with 40mm cannons (very rare).
  • Taking out a pirate ship is very rewarding as they usually carry a lot of loot. Pirates can also be captured and sold as slaves.
  • The Republic army will actively try to take out this threat, especially if City Control is 25+. The chance for a successful takeout is roughly 5-20% per day, based on current City Control.

New quest: The Detective

Reaching Loving+ with Ellen Shaw (Talk > Ask > Background) opens up a small quest that can be resolved either through "standard procedures" or through The Senate.

New Location: Hamilton SGPD

The Police Department of Hamilton Square is now a permanent location, similar to Town Hall, with separated quest objectives and a unique render.

This also removes the rare chance of having overlapping quest POIs on the map if you're doing "In the Name of God" and have the Tier2+ slave at the jail.

New item: Clothing Box (Clothing Store, Westside)

Nika's now sells a box that contains over a hundred out-of-fashion (?) clothes that'll active a unique "Revealing outfit" option for a select number of NPCs. These unique clothes are very well-made alternatives produced by MoR's hired 3D-artist (or other modders) and can vary greatly in appearance, color and skimpiness.

News section

Upon interacting with various time-based institutions in Ikaanos (like entering the gymnasium or earning your first senate ranking point), you'll now see a convenient News section every time you enter your Home, either from Conclude Day or after returning from a district. This feature can be turned off in the Household overview section.

Gymnasium changes

The Gymnasium is now an independent entity that no longer waits for the MC to arrive at the location with his girls. This means you can miss a scheduled final if you don't keep track of remaining days.

  • A new script will reset and align the "finals" variables upon hitting Conclude Day when updating to 0.8.4.5.
  • Grand finals are now held every 50 days (was 100).

Bed companion overhaul

  • Title name has been changed to "Bed Partner".
  • You're now able to customize sex options (vaginal, oral, vaginal, rough) in the Bed Partner tooltip.
  • Added a Corruption increase chance for the "Rough" option.
  • Added sexual Disposition increase chances for Bed Partners.

Salary demand tweaks

  • Added an additional script that lowers salary demands by roughly 75% for Story NPCs (Issids) if they were enslaved down from Servanthood+.
  • The Meet Salary Demands setting will now adjust automatically if current salary is higher than an NPC's required salary.
  • Added a missing checker that'll set an NPC's required salary to 0 if the requirements would go into the negatives. The old checker wouldn't allow a new required salary to be set if it was less than 0, which could potentially cause a broken/devoted slave to ask for a salary even if he or she is fine with a $0 income.
  • Adjusted several caps and checkers.

Prospector tweaks

  • You're now able to view your Prospecting skill, Artisan bonus and Follower assistant bonuses upon entering a cave or starting a gold panning session. (Screenshot 1-2).
  • You can now view a location's gemstone and gold ore availability in the Location Overview Pane.
  • Added a new orientation system for the Location Overview Pane called "Current Zone" (gemstone search). This will change as you walk deeper and deeper into a cave and can add either a bonus or a penalty to the chance roll.
  • Added 1,500 words of random dialogues for Followers.
  • Added eight new cave events. Some of these events might open up new tunnels, which increases availability.
  • Increased the chance roll span and added more emphasis on gemstone availability.
  • Added several new "discover gemstone events". There is now a slightly higher chance (20%) to carve out a diamond (was 10%). Some events also have higher yields of gemstones.
  • A gemstone or gold panning session now only takes 1.5 hours (was 3 hours).
  • You can no longer search for gemstones or pan for gold after 11 pm (23:00). This will block the player from accidentally entering the Conclude Day script.
  • Added a "gemstones found" tracker and experience bonus script (max +20 if you find 250+ gemstones). Last screenshot.

Quest overhaul: The Vault (Lovisa)

  • Tweaked various dialogues and event texts.
  • Replaced two interior scenes.
  • You can no longer bring Lovisa's parents when doing "The Vault".
  • You're now able to pick up Mr. Robert's statues and add them as a furniture to either the living room, the master bedroom or the office. If these statues are on display, Lovisa's and Tori's Humiliation is increased by +3 points per day if their Corruption is below 30.

Quest overhaul: The Hidden Glade (Rebecca)

  • Tweaked all dialogues and event texts.
  • Added dialogues for Bud and Ansel if they are assigned as Followers.
  • Replaced all renders.

Catholic Faction changes

The two spawning bandit enemy groups that block The Church in Westside have been overhauled.

  • They will now pause incomes from the Catholic Faction.
  • If both faction groups are present, they have a small chance of decreasing the Catholic Faction's Power Value (5% chance per day, down to a minimum of 120).
  • Greatly enhanced difficulty level (slightly more powerful than Highwaymen) and offer more loot.

Random NPCS

  • Added two new male AV sets (captives).
  • Added roughly 25 new names to the random name generators (80% male, 20% female).

New quest: Slavemasters of Raana (SMR) Chapter 2

SMR Chapter 2 unlocks after completing the harem event on USS Seneca. Interacting with Mordecai on the Upper Decks will start a new main quest line that involves helping and befriending his daughter Arizona Adler. Arizona's tasks involve adventures and tours on a grand scale, featuring 20,000+ words of events/dialogue and over 60 unique renders.

  • Special renders and interactions available if you assign Stacey McClung as a Follower for the "Sword of Edaren" expedition.
  • Special renders and interaction available if you assign Kansas Adler as a Follower for the "Arizona tour" mission.
  • The ability to get Aria Bianchi back after selling her to Kymanto and Mordecai Adler. The new Aria comes with a unique trait, extra dialogues and a unique outfit.

Combat overhaul (slot weapons)

The old Favorite weapon cycle system has been removed and replaced by a new framework that'll eventually be applied to both the MC and his NPCs. In 0.8.4.5, only The MC has this new system active, however.

You now have to equip yourself properly before heading out into battle. The MC has four weapon slots that you equip from the inventory. Those weapons can be of any combination - four melee weapons, three melee weapons and one ranged weapon etc.

  • Upon equipping a weapon, that item is removed from your Armory. When clicking the "X" button, the weapon is returned to your Armory. This eliminates several old bugs and inconsistencies that allowed you to sell or remove equipped weaponry and accidentally give your last plasma rifle to an NPC.
  • You only have access to your armory when at your Home (Sandbox diff can reach the armory from any location), adding a tactical layer to the current combat system. Make sure to grab your favorite rifle, a trusty sidearm, and maybe a Great Sword and a Whipping cane.
  • While in combat, you can now easily switch between carried weapons by just clicking on the weapon sprites in the bottom left corner. Firing a selected weapon displays the old (larger) weapon sprite and ammo. The hotkeys for changing weapons are still A or D.

NOTE! If you prefer the old cycle system, you can reactivate it by going to Options > Mods > Page III > New Weapon Slots > OFF.

Armor and MC clothes

Clicking on "Armor" now opens up another pane with the familiar armor values. This new framework also enables the ability to dress the MC in clothes that are not armor. Put on a fancy suit to enhance your Charm attempts or dress in special attire that boosts your chances during Shrine lectures (WIP - coming in 0846).

Sound

  • Added a new combat track for Pirate fights.
  • Added two unique combat sound effects for the wakizashi.
  • Added one additional combat sound effect for swords.

Art

  • Added Piper's shower scenes (7 pics).
  • Added The Valkyria's shower scenes (7 pics).
  • Added Piper's morning BJ scenes (7 pics).
  • Added Michelle's morning BJ scenes (7 pics).
  • Added Nicole's morning BJ scenes (7 pics).
  • Added 46 wardrobe pics for Ellen.
  • Added 16 sex scenes for Ellen.
  • Added 1 dining pic for Ellen.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a critical bug that wouldn't alleviate the Anger effects from not meeting a First Wife's Power Value-based salary.
  • Fixed a critical bug that would cause the EXIT button the become unavailable upon leaving your Home and entering vendors.
  • Fixed a critical bug that could display unrelated floating text sections in the quest menu (very rare).
  • Fixed a critical bug that would leave the Dengi king as an enemy POI if he was taken out by the Space Marines.
  • Fixed a critical bug that could produce double assignments in the NPC overview pane.
  • Fixed an erroneous multiplier in the fl oz converter.
  • Replaced several instances where NPCs were addressing the MC as "High Chancellor" when they should call him "High Senator".
  • Professor Wolf, Nicole, Aurora and Mr. Swanson will no longer talk to you as if you helped Aria when you in fact sold her to Kymanto (missing checker).
  • Fixed a bug with the new salary demand system that wouldn't take Milou's post-rebel quest into account when adjusting her salary demands (Take out Ryker Holmes).
  • Fixed an error with an uncapped starlet trait (Educator framework).
  • Prowlers can no longer engage in conversations while out doing scavenger runs.
  • The Limp Disadvantage will now properly deduct 5 DEXTERITY points.
  • Removed the rogue "SGPD Officer" City Job button for NPCs that are not eligible for such an assignment.
  • Fixed a bug that would increase the Power Value of CTM with ten times the amount stated when passing a pro-CTM bill at The Senate.
  • The Bofors Gun can now be hired immediately after assuming the Eagle Seat (High Chancellor).
  • Fixed a missing definer script for Raikan Gale, which could produce errors when purchasing it from Toshi Gardens.
  • The Abbey is now correctly added to the Expenditures variable (Economy Menu).
  • The Extrovert Trait will no longer show up in the Trait pane until reaching its defined value (75).
  • Fixed many typos.
