Overview

Influence is an in-game currency. It is a broad term, used to describe the player's power and connections throughout Ikaanos. Influence is an important part of the player's growing empire, as a high level of influence makes others respect him and allows access to items and weapons forbidden by Ikaanos' laws.

Gaining & Losing Influence

The player can gain influence in many different ways:

  • Having a luxurious house.
  • Having a fully upgraded stable.
  • Having an extravagant spending.
  • Having a squad of maids.
  • Teaching at the Whitehaven Academy himself. Assigning NPCs to the Academy either for studying purposes or lecturing purposes.
  • Investing in legitimate businesses
  • Assigning a female NPC to work as a performer at the Golden Dragon.
  • Having paragons working for him and Aria Bianchi as his slave.
  • Vassalizing factions.
  • Arranging luxurious marriages
  • Having a Herald traveling around Ikaanos to spread good words about the player and his household.
