Willpower

Willpower is an Attribute that measures a slave's level of obedience, confidence and initiative. Although obedience can also be achieved through Corruption or Affection, lowering Willpower is the most efficient way to increase a slave's compliance. But also remember that a high Willpower value comes with its own benefits.

Benefits of Low Willpower

• Broken/Devoted slaves (Willpower below 1) will always agree to sexual requests, shower/bath events and other suggestions from the MC.
• Higher yield when slave is sold.
• Less Affection/Happiness loss from demeaning/violent events.

Benefits of High Willpower

• A Happy slave with a Willpower value above 30 has a small daily chance of increasing her own Charisma (up to 60).
• A slight bonus to raising skills (Affection must be at least Neutral, Happiness 30+, Willpower 30+).
• A +15 chance bonus to all Arena rolls if Willpower is 40+.
• Higher Happiness/Affection yield from encouragement.
• Willpower 25+ is one of the requirements for a slave to become a Perfectionist. Although you can lower willpower after the slave developed that trait without endangering the trait.

Decreasing Willpower

• Explain chores and sexual duties, preferably in a dominant manner (Talk > Explain something).
• Ask about sexual preferences in a dominant way (Talk > Ask something).
• By requesting sex in a dominant or sadistic way.
• Through degrading acts during sex and shower/bath events.
• Through bondage sessions.
• Through Frightening or Terrorizing actions (Talk section).
• Through the use of Butt plugs.
• An Educator with Corruption 60+, Dominant trait, or Malevolent trait 30+ can be given the option to Dominate their trainees, which has a daily chance of decreasing the Willpower of Trainees assigned to them by 1 (cap: 0) as long as the Educator's Willpower is higher than his/her trainee.
• Lecture (= preach) "Anti Willpower" in your Shrine, and all Followers will have a reasonable chance of having their Willpower decreased by 1 point.

Humiliation

A straightforward way of lowering Willpower is by maintaining a high Humiliation value. Ending the day with a maxed Humiliation (15+/15), will decrease a slave's Willpower by one point, regardless of Traits, current values or other states. Raising Humiliation can be done in many ways, including talking dominantly, using bondage devices, or by degrading cum events.

Pain

Ending the day with maxed-out pain (10/10) has a 25% chance of lowering a girl's Willpower by an additional point if her Humiliation is also maxed-out.

Increasing Willpower

• "Encourage" the NPC (females only; Talk ---> Encourage).
• An Educator with the Free Thinking template has a daily chance of increasing the Willpower of trainees assigned to them by +1 (cap: 130, or to the Educator's current Willpower, whichever value is lower).
• Assign slave to the "Science & Hardware" or the "History & Anthropology" courses at the Academy (daily chance of +1 increase 8% and 6% respectively).
• Assign slave to the Secret Garden Bookstore.
• Lecture (= preach) "Pro Willpower" in your Shrine, and all Followers will have a reasonable chance of having their Willpower increased by 1 point.
• NPCs with the Warrior trait have a +15% daily chance to increase their Willpower naturally (cap: 80).
• Paragons below 80 Corruption will have a 2% chance to raise his/her Willpower by 1 per day (cap: 80).
• A Household's Emancipation value gives a chance of increasing the Willpower of one or more of the NPCs in it each day (cap: 80).
