Background

A fearless girl from the tribal kingdoms between Ikaanos and New Eden.

You encounter Laika together with her brother Loden while searching through the abandoned Yidhra temple in Kasey's Park. Here, the kids have taken refuge after escaping from a crew of soldiers where they've been forced to work as gritter slaves.

Age

Laika is aged 14 when you meet her. Some job postings, titles, clothes and accessories slots, and dialog options will not be available to him until she reaches an appropriate age (e.g. Academy courses aren't available to students younger than 14 or 15). Some jobs may be available, but at a penalty due to youth (e.g. Captains and Heralds can be any age, but at a -15 skill penalty until 16 and 17 respectively). At age 18 she becomes fully adult. Her image set changes to that of a young adult at age 15.

Special Ability - Team Wixx:

Laika and Loden both have the Scavenger trait, but also work together so well as siblings that if sent Scavenging on the same day, they will between them bring home +1-6 extra Merchandise, with a 1 in 15 chance of +1 tendstim too. (Don't ask them where they get this loot!)

Starter Stats

Laika starts with very high Dexterity and also Acrobatic ability, making her a good candidate for performing in the potentially lucrative gymnastics competitions at the Gymnasium in Crow's End. The gymnasium will admit contestants of any age (as long as female), but note that training outfits (and their attendant performance bonus) aren't available until age 15.
