Fishing gear

You can buy some simple fishing gear from Redhaven Market for just $25: a rod, a reel, a line, and a set of lures. It is all that is needed to catch some of the fairly abundant Raanan aquatic life. Raanan "fish" are similar enough to Earth fish, edible, and rarely venomous or otherwise dangerous.

You can use this fishing gear to go fishing the from the banks of the Red River, just a few minutes walk from your home and next to the market. It's a pleasant way to spend a few hours, and may increase your Survival skill, but won't yield enough to feed a large household.

If you want your Followers to assist you in fishing you will have to buy them fishing gear each too, so you might want up to five sets.

Fishing gear lasts indefinitely; you will only have to buy it once.
