Player Home (Redhaven)/Library

Overview
The Library is a buildable room within the Player's Home. It is where The Player and his household NPCs read books.
Construction & Upgrade
- Construction ($15,000): A newly installed library. The chamber itself is pretty austere but not lacking in functionality.
- Decorate ($5,000): A cozy library with new wallpaper, an antique Earth globe and many eye-pleasing decorations. Effect: increases the chance for all non-bound household members to learn +1 Academics overnight by 0.1%
Collection
The player can add the following books to the Library:
- Encylopædia Britannica ($800): Increases the chance for non-bound household members to gain +1 Academics overnight by 0.1%.
- Encylopædia Raanica ($4,500): Increases the chance for non-bound household members to gain +1 Academics overnight by 0.1%.
- Lost manuscripts of Hirnosso ($25,000): Increases the chance for non-bound household members to gain +1 Academics and +1 Occultism (WIP) overnight by 0.1%. This also changes the description of the room, if the player has decorated it prior to adding this book, into a luxurious Alexandrian library with new wallpaper, an antique Earth globe, and collection of rare books that might render any visiting scholar awestruck.
- Forbidden books of Awalei ($100,000): Increases the chance for non-bound household members to gain +1 Academics and +1 Occultism (WIP) overnight by 0.1%.
Furniture
The player can add the following furniture to the Library:
- Armchairs - up to three.
- Bookshelves - up to seven. The first four each increase the nightly chance for non-bound household members to gain +1 to either Intelligence, Academics, Science or Administration by 0.1%. Bookshelves 5, 6 and 7 each increase the nightly chance for non-bound household members to gain +1 to either Academics, Science, or Occultism (WIP) by 0.1%.
Rename
The player can rename the Library if he so chooses.
