  • Risks: High

Overview:[edit | edit source]

The Captain of the guard is the leader and trainer of your security forces. A Captain will train the guards discipline and combat skills (up to 80), and help guard your household.

Captain's Skill:[edit | edit source]

The captain's skill is used to determine how effective he/she is at training his/hers subordinates.

  • Captain's Skill = Captain's Ranged + Melee + Willpower + Warrior trait.
  • If the captain's age is 16 or less, subtract 15 from the Skill total.
  • If the captain's body-type is petite (or very petite), subtract 10 from the Skill total.
  • If the captain's Warrior trait is above 70, add 15 to the Skill total.
  • Divide the Skill total by 4 for the visible 'final' Skill value.
  • If the captain's Warfame is less than 15, subtract 10 from the Skill total.
  • If the captain's Warfame is more than 200, add 10 to the Skill total.
  • If the captain's Warfame is more than 600, add 10 more to the Skill total.
  • Now you have the actual final skill value.

Training sucess rate:[edit | edit source]

  • Each day at Midnight, the game determines if the Captain was successful in training that day.
  • That is determined by comparing the Captain's Skill to a random number between 1 and 120 for Ranged/Melee skill, and between 1 and 150 for discipline.
    • if the guards Ranged, Melee or Discipline is above 50, then they get a penalty (-20) for training that skill.
  • Then, if Skill is greater than the random number (1 to 120~150), training will occur.

More effects:[edit | edit source]

  • The Captain will add his/hers guard power to the guard pool.
  • The Captain will reduce the chance of a slave escaping your household, based on his Skill:
    • If the Captain's Skill is above 20, reduce the escape chance by 1 point.
    • If the Captain's Skill is above 40, reduce the escape chance by 1 additional point.
    • If the Captain's Skill is above 60, reduce the escape chance by 1 additional point.
    • If the Captain's Skill is above 80, reduce the escape chance by 1 additional point.
