The United Earth government was formed in 2197 by the European Union, The NUSA and several other states in Oceania.
The Scandinavian state joined with UE in 2205.
When the AU also joined in 2225, the UE government wielded an economic and military force that no other mega-state could match. Their main contender for world domination, PAC, finally merged with the union in 2267.
