Fort Stokke
A decrepit fort in the center of Stokke Hills, sister to the nearby but slightly larger and more formidable Marston Fort. Both are monuments to Ikaanos' history, now abandoned by the Skyguard who judged their strategic value not worth the cost of maintaining them. But not demolished, so now prone to being taken over and used as bases by bandits when they judge the Republic's forces as spread too thin to enforce control for a while.
The residents of Stokke Hills would be grateful for any independent adventurers who decide to do a spot of raider removal when the Skyguard are too distracted by external threats to prevent these forts being turned against the populations they once protected. At the moment this fort is occupied by bandits more often than not.
Groups encounterable here include the following:
- Warriors from the infamous Aesir Vetlanda Tribe.
- A unit of The Tempest – a well-equipped company rumored to worship an unknown entity.
- Scouts from The Celior Looters – a feared force from beyond the Kahill plateau to the west.
- Members of the infamous Sacra Gang – known for their cruelty, and zealous anarchistic beliefs.
- Gang members of Los Bichos Locos – a neo-Mexican cartel formed right after The Severance.
- A section of the Stryker Squad – a notorious gang of mercenaries known for their use of high tech weaponry.
- A couple of squads from the Bearole Company – a collection of lowlife freebooters who rape, pillage and murder anyone they can lay their hands on.
- An odd collection of riffraff who shouldn't offer any serious resistance to a well-armed force.
