Background

Another of the staff at Furry's Tavern who the MC has a chance of recruiting. Valerie is multitalented, fit, young, beautiful and charismatic. Tribal tattoos cover her body, indicating a foreign heritage, while a heavy collar ensures she would be recognized and returned if she escaped. She performs, heavily guarded, obviously furious and hating every moment of it, about once every five nights at the tavern, as Furry keeps the night's entertainment on rotation.

If you carouse at Furry's on nights when Valerie is performing, on the *second* round you have a 1 in 4 chance of meeting an old friend who is somewhat infatuated with Valerie. On the *second* occasion this happens, he reveals information which indicates there may be something about her which might compensate for the high price of buying her for yourself - assuming Furry can be persuaded to sell her. On subsequently talking to Furry, he indicates that though he was until recently somewhat infatuated with her, he is now getting tired of her and willing to sell her - for a quite high price.
