The Mayor

Currently, the title of Mayor is held by Philip Lancour. As the Mayor, he governs Ikaanos Colony for The Senate of the Republic that appointed him to administer things on the ground while they enjoy the luxuries of the Mastersphere. His formal title is High Commander of the Skyguard, though he delegates most day-to-day control of them to The Lord Commander of Law and the Lord Commander of War so that he can concentrate on all the other aspects of governing the colony.

The Mayor officially governs out of the Town Hall in Hamilton Square but spends most of his time in the Republic Palace in the Palace District of Emerald City.

(Later in the game this position might be taken over by Utah Adler or Arizona Adler - who may perform the role under the Mayor job assignment available only to her.)
