Dakota grew up in a very hostile part of Ikaanos, so her having a lot of troubles growing up is not surprising. She had good, caring and hardworking parents, but raiders killed them when she was just 10 years old. She had two older brothers; both died in The Border Wars. She has a older sister, Aimee the first-born, who is so nosy and overprotective of her it's a problem… She also had a creepy uncle, who was a big problem for her sister when they had to live with him. Now they are back at Stokke Hills, running their old store which they recently renovated (and which attracts too many bandits for some reason…)

You see her fighting with her sister the first time you enter Aimee's Goods. Right after that, you get an opportunity to be a hero for the poor girl, who has issues with some local bandits. You later have another potential hero moment when she gets kidnapped and her sister runs to you asking for your help ("A Sisterly Dilemma" quest). After you have saved Dakota from thugs twice, both girls see you as their savior (not just an investor), and they invite you to Dakota's 18th birthday! (Here is where you can court her into her very first bedroom action!) After that, you can have fun with her again (once per day), and after you have increased her affection enough she will agree to sign a slave contract and start living in your household.
