Toshi Gardens

Overview

Toshi Gardens is the once-thriving establishment of Toshi Oshiro, Raikan's Master Gardener. The garden's lushness tells of this house's proud past, and there's still a vibrant atmosphere of magic clinging to the ancient trees.

The garden is currently closed for business, but you can restore it to functioning and unlock the ability to drink Tea, harvest produce, and invest here, if you complete Mai-Lynn Oshiro's quest.

Produce

If you can help him re-open his business, grateful Mr. Oshiro will not just reward you with a cut of his takings, he will offer some of his harvest too. Few of the many herbs grown here will be of interest though, except for the Imperial Flowers and the Raikan Gale, which become available from the Herb House if you develop it - to "Advanced" level for Imperial Flowers (8 units per week), or "Sekai Niwa" level for Raikan Gale (5 bottles per week).

Upgrading Toshi Gardens

You can upgrade the structure (building), the garden, and the herb house. You can also drop dung gathered from Silfren's Lair here to boost income.

Upgrading Toshi Gardens can provide significant cash - but beware drawing the attention of the Black Scorpion gang, lest they shake Mr Oshiro down for half his profits.

A fully developed enterprise with plenty of dung and Mai-Lynn assisting will bring in +$930 per day, if the Black Scorpion gang has been removed.

The Black Scorpion

The Black Scorpion gang will take notice if the gardens are improved, and will start extorting half of total revenues. So to get full profit from the building and the herb house you must either leave the gardens undeveloped, or defeat the Black Scorpion.

Baneclaw Dung

Baneclaw Dung

The dung pile depletes at the rate of 1 unit per 2 days on average (50% chance of -1 per day).

Dung pile Garden yield
0 0
1–9 +10
10–19 +40
20–29 +70
30–39 +100
40+ +130

Mai-Lynn

Mai-Lynn adds +25% to Garden yield, and if a garden is present she multiplies the yield from Building and Herb House too, and she also multiplies the effect of bane dung.
