Overview
Drenner Village is a deplorable collection of shacks and sod houses within The Underworld. This place is a last resort for convicts, denaar addicts, and runaway slaves who can tolerate the dangerously high concentration of smoke - and the frequent robberies and rapes which beset anyone not under The Below-King's protection.
Jobs And Rumors
There are currently two jobs that the player can take on in Drenner Village:
- Collect Meat: The butcher Torilei can't visit the overworld as she's wanted for killing her old Master, so she'll do a deal with anyone who can provide her with raw meat - as long as it comes in batches of 250 at a time. She pays $300 per batch, plus a random gift comprising whatever her daughter has found - and a 1 in 5 chance of gaining +1 Standing with the Bandits.
- Collect Hides: The proud leather tanner of Drenner Village, Hannes, is willing to offer two silver coins per skin that you bring to his workshop. But he only accepts batches of 200 skins (for $400). And he provides a big special bonus if you eventually bring him 1,000 skins (repeatable).
