This is a material essential for Crafting many items - if you have a Smithery, plus sufficient Blacksmithing and maybe also Artisan skill. Steel can also be sold. To obtain Steel you can buy it, Refine it from Scrap metal that you or your staff find while Scavenging or that you extract from "Merch", or smelt it from Iron Ore that you can obtain by Mining.

- Sell to: Walton's Smithery, Imperial Arms
- Sale Value*: $8
- Obtain from: converting Scrap Metal, smelting Iron Ore, occasional Loot
