Influence
Overview
Influence is an in-game currency. It is a broad term, used to describe the player's power and connections throughout Ikaanos. Influence is an important part of the player's growing empire, as a high level of influence makes others respect him and allows access to items and weapons forbidden by Ikaanos' laws. Certain areas of Ikaanos are only accessible to people with a certain level of Influence (e.g. 1,500+ for Emerald Island; 10,000+ for the Palace District), and certain quests and other opportunities are only unlocked at certain levels (e.g. 2,000+ to access the Velvet Rooms, 6,000+ for Hunt Research to buy Prowlers and other curiosities from you...).
